Library Camp
Are you a library school student or recent graduate trying to find your way in the wilds of Library Land? We’ve been there and we want to help.
Announcing Library Camp 2025!
Whether you’re tired of studying in a vacuum, or just want to meet some new friends, come gather around the (proverbial) fire to share stories and ideas with your fellow future librarians and other library workers.
As a Library Camper, you’ll gain access to perks and activities like:
A cohort that will meet virtually once a month to discuss topics relating to libraries and librarianship and talk with library professionals from a range of specialties.
A dedicated online community of student peers to share encouragement, support, and work toward shared goals.
Volunteer opportunities to write, present, and share your ideas.
Workshops, webinars, and other professional development options that are actually interesting and practical. Past examples include Resumania, I am a Librarian panel, and more!
Access to The League of Awesome Librarians, a virtual professional network full of exclusive content, inspiration, and awesome librarians from around the world.
Silliness! Joy! It’s called the League of Awesome Librarians for a reason.
Library Camp runs from January to August 2025–so we can fully run the gamut from networking to job-hunting– and all perks and activities are included in your semester-long membership for just $10* - the most affordable professional development opportunity in town! And remember, there's no meaningful camp without campers! To make the most of your experience, expect to participate 1-2 hours a week while the academic year is upon us.
Apply by December 11, 2024 for the Winter 2025 cohort!
*Scholarships/Work-trade opportunities are available.
